Cheers for Volunteers: Friends of Youth Thanks Wells Fargo Crew

Wells Fargo volunteers created flower boxes and did maintenance work at the Friends of Youth facility New Ground Kirkland on Friday's Day of Caring.

Friends of Youth, which operates a housing facility in Kirkland for formerly homeless young men and women, is thanking a group from Wells Fargo for its volunteer work on last Friday’s United Way Day of Caring.

Thomas Ku, a Friends of Youth board member and vice president at , led a team in creating flower boxes, landscaping and doing exterior maintenance at the facility, New Ground Kirkland.

Redmond-based Friends of Youth is a non-profit agency dedicated to supporting youth and their families in King and Snohomish counties. Its New Ground Kirkland is one of five New Ground facilities that provide housing and support in education, employment and health care for six young adults 18-21.
