Holiday Home Tour Benefits the Assistance League of the Eastside

The nonprofit organization's annual event supports the many programs that benefit people on the Eastside. The tour is Friday, Dec. 9 in Kirkland.

The Assistance League of the Eastside’s annual holiday home tour is Friday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Celebrations is a self-guided tour of local homes beautifully decorated for the holidays. Following the huge popularity of last year’s event, the tour is once more focused in Kirkland, according to Miranda Roberts, vice president for communications. Ticket holders will be able to tour six unique homes and enjoy an after-tour party at .

Operation School Bell® provides new school clothing to over 2,500 students each year in the Lake Washington, Bellevue and Northshore school districts. Personnel at the schools served firmly believe that new clothing and the resulting increase in self-esteem contribute to a strong foundation for a child’s successful educational experience.
