Pets of the Week: Chauncey, Raleigh Are Two Happy, Kid-Friendly Cats
The pair landed at Houghton's MEOW Cat Rescue when their heartsick family had to move out of state and couldn't take them along.
If you are looking for two friendly, happy, kid-loving cats, Chauncey and Raleigh are the boys for you.
They were adopted as kittens four years ago, but their family had to move to another state and were heartsick that they couldn't take these two lovable guys with them.
The family had four children and the cats were “fantastic” with all of them. When the family returned them to in Houghton, they described Chauncey and Raleigh as really mellow and unflappable. These two amazing cats would wait for their humans to come home, then prance about greeting them upon their return.
So Chauncey and Raleigh will do best in a home with children. They love to play and they will love with abandon. Both are neutered, micro-chipped, current on vaccines and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
