Pets of the Week: Didgeridoo & Mimi

The two beautiful 6-month-old kittens were rescued with their siblings and mama from under a house in Redmond.

The two beautiful kittens Didgeridoo and Mimi, along with their siblings and mama, surprised a homeowner in Redmond last summer when she was having her home remodeled.

She thought she saw some movement under her house, did a little investigation, and there they were, mama cat and her five newborn kittens.

in Houghton scooped up the family and placed them in a foster home where mama could care for her kittens in a safe place while they did some growing.

Didgeridoo and Mimi are now almost six months old, and are so bonded they need to be adopted as a pair.  Didgeridoo is a male and Mimi is a female. Both are a Siamese mix and really beautiful.

Didgeridoo seems to be braver than Mimi. They are shy and timid at first, but warm up to humans once they feel comfortable. They have not been around dogs and will probably do best in a home without small children as loud noises and sudden movement s are frightening.

Didg and Mimi are both healthy, have had their vaccinations, are micro-chipped and ready to find a loving family. If you are interested, see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.
