Pets of the Week: Orphans Sam and Winslow Bonded Like Brothers

These two young cats love life, are delightfully playful and need a good home.

Sam and Winslow aren't brothers, but sshhhhhh! Don't tell them, because they think they are, being quite bonded, best buddies and so must be adopted as a pair.

Both came to shelter in Houghton from separate situations as orphaned, tiny babies. They have been in a foster home since that time.

These two boys are so much fun and an absolute delight. They love life and everything about it. Topping their favorites: Riding dust mops, laying in fresh, warm laundry right out of the dryer, sleeping in sunbeams and jumping out from under the bed to attack human feet walking by. Both are perfect gentlemen about using the litter box.

Winslow is a domestic short hair brown ticked tabby with the most incredible fur coat. He looks like he could be part Abyssinian. Sam is a domestic short hair black with tabby markings that you can see when he lies in the sunlight.

Winslow is the more exuberant and self-assured of the two, and he purrs all of the time - even when he is eating. Sam is just as sweet as pie and a little more reserved. He looks to Winslow for reassurance.

They are such a great pair, both healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered and micro-chipped. If you think they might make a good fit for your family, please see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
