Pets of the Week: Snow-White Kittens Found Feral, Now Ready For Homes

We're not sure these four kittens could be any more beautiful. With fur as white as snow that is bunny soft, Claire, Calliope, Clover and Chevy are a dream come true.

These girls were rescued from lives as feral cats because someone cared. They were brought into the safety and warmth of a home and fed nutritious food.  shelter in Houghton was contacted, and the kittens have been living in foster care since that time.

Since the age of about six weeks they've been learning about gentle human touch -- and they have all discovered that they really like it! Their initial hesitancy about humans has vanished, and they are sure to make the perfect addition to some lucky folks' homes.

They all purr easily now at 4.5 months old and sometimes follow their foster mom around asking for a little lovin'. Their progress continues daily and there is no doubt that they'll lose every bit of their original shyness in time.

The MEOW Cat shelter folks would like them to be adopted in pairs. Any combination would work. They'll do best in a quiet home with no young children.
