This Week in Kirkland: School's In, City Council, and More
School starts Tuesday, Sept. 3 for Lake Washington School District, and parents should have received postcards with their school bus route updates. In case you didn't, check out the new routes and stops before sending the kids out the door this morning.
Also coming up this week in Kirkland:
- At this evening's Tuesday, September 3, 2013 City Council Meeting, the council will receive a petition against the planned slurry seal in the Brookhaven neighborhood and discuss limits on the number of residential units allowed in projects in the central business district.
- Despite school starting, the Kirkland Wednesday Market and Juanita Friday Market are still here for us--fresh produce for packing lunches.
- Professional Women's Luncheon Event hosted by Eastside Women in Business is Wednesday, Sept. 4, but we heard tickets were nearly sold out, so check it out before you go.
- Friday, Sept. 6, luxury car owners are invited to participate in the 2013 Kirkland Concours d’Jour
