Picnic benches throughout are available for sitting and relaxing or enjoying a meal with others. A major part of the park is the expansive wetlands with a listing at the entrance of the park as to what wildlife lives within. Take a walk along the pathway to view the various natural habitats with prompters throughout to explain what is in each part of the wetlands. A favorite for bird watchers, wildlife such as Blue Heron, Redwing Blackbird and Hummingbirds all live here.
