The Kirkland Brown Bag Cafe, in business since 1994, is the last remaining location of a local group of family-owned restaurants that started in Carnation in 1979. The Kirkland restaurant, located seconds from I-405, offers a full menu of omelets, sandwiches and other breakfast and lunch favorites. A "Lighter Fares" section features smaller portions for not-so-hungry diners.
