A Suraphong Liengboonlertchai, Neighbor

Suraphong “A” Liengboonlertchai, an entrepreneur and interior designer, grew up in the retail environment. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, he studied and practiced law, yet always had a passion for interior design. In 2006, while searching for a location, he fell in love with Kirkland and opened Simplicity Décor downtown, where “East Meets West Meets Simple.” With his sincere personality, passion for customer service, eye for design, and his commitment to giving back to the community, A and Simplicity Décor soon began to attract a loyal clientele. Simplicity Décor has earned numerous recognition and awards, including the “50 Retail Stars” award from Home Accent Today magazine. While A is  busy running his business, he also dedicates his personal time to serve the community on the advisory board for the Kirkland Teen Union Building (KTUB), Board of Director for Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and is chairman of the Parking Advisory Board for the City of Kirkland. He loves to give and share anything he has in life with others.
