Driver Won't Face Felony Charge in Cyclist's Death
The family of John Przychodzen has filed a civil suit.
No felony charges will be filed against the driver in the July death of a bicyclist in Kirkland.
Although Nicholas N. Natale hit cyclist John Przychodzen after swerving onto the shoulder in his pickup, he did not commit a crime, Kirkland Police Detective Allan O'Neill told The Seattle Times in this report.
"It was a terrible accident, and it is unfortunate that someone lost their life," O'Neill told the newspaper.
The family has filed a lawsuit in King County Superior Court, the newspaper reported.
