Come and Dine: Interfaith Group to Host First 'Dinner Dialogue Potluck'

The dinner will be hosted at Northlake Unitarian on Sunday, March 10, by Fostering Interfaith Relationships on the Eastside (FIRE).

The first Fostering Interfaith Relationships on the Eastside (FIRE) dinner dialogue potluck is set for Sunday, March 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The group hopes to hold similar dinners three to four times a year, said FIRE member Toby Nixon, at rotating locations. The inaugural location is Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, 308 4th Avenue South.

This dialogue is inspired by "12 Steps to a Compassionate Life" by Karen Armstrong, the group said, and attendees can expect to:

So far, several dozen people have rsvp'd, Nixon said. Attendees are invited to bring a dish to share.
