Green Kirkland Partnership Arbor Day Planting Event

Juanita Bay Park Restoration

Saturday November 12

Dear Green Kirkland Supporter,

Find out what's happening in Kirklandwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The Kirkland Mayor has proclaimed November 12 as Arbor Day!  Also, it’s Climate Action Month, a month-long series of events from Oct. 15 through Nov. 12, focused on creating a healthier environment through tree planting and sustainable transportation. For more information, visit climateactionmonth.org.

Please join the Green Kirkland Partnership to celebrate by planting over 700 native plants and trees!  We will plant in the morning and gather at Noon for our special Arbor Day tree planting ceremony.  EarthCorps crews and Native Plant Stewards will lead planting activities. Some invasive plant removal might be included.
