Update: Power Restored in Juanita Neighborhood

About 23 customers went without power for about two hours in the Juanita area of Kirkland Sunday morning, according to Puget Sound Energy.

Update Sunday afternoon: Puget Sound Energy officials said the cause of a power outage in the Juanita area of Kirkland was caused by a tree limb that had fallen on a power line. Power was restored to the area at about 10:40 a.m.

As of about 8:50 a.m. Sunday, 23 Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customers are without power in the Juanita area of Kirkland, specifically on Goat Hill, PSE officials said.

Workers are on the scene on the 11870 block of 89th Place Northeast, according to Roger Thompson with PSE corporate communications.Β As of 10:15 a.m. they had not yet determined the cause of the outage and had no estimate on when power would be restored.
