Bissett was motivated by alarming statistics about children’s health, such as 50 percent of US children are overweight and 25 percent of children spend more than 4 hours per day in front of the television.  “Children can use their imagination and laugh their way through a great workout without even realizing they are exercising,” says Bissett, who has been using dance as a way to have fun and connect with her own children for years.

Boogie Monster and Tickle Monster products including books, kits and leggings will be available for purchase at the Simplicity Décor booth on Saturday, July 30 and are currently available at Simplicity Décor’s store in Kirkland (126 Park Lane, Kirkland WA 98033) or online at www.simplicitydecor.com
