  • Where/When: Sounders play on at 7 p.m. on Friday and the final round of the Sweet Sixteen is all day on Friday.
  • Why Go: The Time Out is downtown Kirkland's go-to bar for sports games. The Sounders season is in full gear and plenty of brackets are left to be broken in the NCAA Tournament. It's a Friday for sports!
  • Cost: No cover.

  • Where/When: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays at .
  • Why Go: So it's the weekend and you've slept in, it's too lake for breakfast and way too early for lunch. Let Trellis solve this dilemma for you with their weekend brunch.

  • Where/When: This Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Crossroads shopping center in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: Treat your taste-buds to a world of exotic flavors during this festival of global food and entertainment. Check out Bellevue Patch's of the event for everything you need to know about all three days.
  • Cost: Prices vary, there is a coupon book available for purchase from the Crossroads customer service that will save you some cash.  Coupon books are being sold today and tomorrow only.

  • Where/When: 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 at the Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah.
  • Why Go: A half marathon isn't for everyone, but if you're feeling like you want to test yourself, this race would be the perfect place to do it. I'll start praying for sunshine now.
  • Cost: Registration is $60. There will be NO registration on race day. Visit the event website to register.

  • Where/When: 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
  • Why Go: This concert is jam packed with Eastside talent. Carmina Burana will feature volcalists and musicians from the Kirkland Choral Society, the Cantaré Vocal Ensemble, the Bellevue Chamber Chorus and the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra. That's a 170-voice performance all taking place in in Seattle’s acclaimed Benaroya Hall.
  • Cost: You can buy tickets in advance for $25 from KirklandChoralSociety.org or $30 at the door. Sell-out risk is high.
