Restaurants across the Eastside are getting into the Easter spirit, serving special menus this Sunday.
In Kirkland, , and the at the , and will be celebrating Easter.
At , brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., including specialties such as Ninety Farms lamb sausage for $25, duck confit hash for $21, bacon and biscuits for $16 and bacon beignets for $13. For reservations call 425-803-5595.
At the adjoining Beach Café, brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A buffet ($39 for adults, $20 for children ages 5 to 12) features cantaloupe consommé and prosciutto, mesquite smoked pork loin and savory cabbage salad, made-to-order omelets, whole roasted pork loin, grilled lemon balm lamb chops and roasted marbled potatoes. Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue offers a three-course brunch for $35 with options such as Daniel’s Northwest-style clam chowder, Eggs Benedict and lobster club salad. Pearl Bar & Dining in Bellevue will serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Three-course menus, including scones, choice of an appetizer and an entrée served with a side of potatoes range from $21 to $25. Z’Tejas, also in Bellevue Square, will celebrate Easter with an egg hunt and a costumed Easter bunny. For adults of drinking age there will be a do-it-yourself Bloody Mary and mimosa station. Preservation Kitchen in Bothell will be serving Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Easter dinner will be served after 4 p.m. Specials include steak and grits for $20, ricotta and herb omelet for $13 and foie gras eggs Benedict for $21. For reservations call 425-408-1306.
The Salish Lodge & Spa will be offering an Easter brunch buffet in the Salish Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $72 for adults, $36 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children under 5. The resort in Snoqualmie will also offer three-course brunches in the Dining Room for $52 for adults, $26 for children 6 to 12 and free for children under 5.
Sip Restaurant in Issaquah will serve an Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For $30 per person, $12.95 for kids under 12, guests can enjoy, among other dishes, scones, salmon lox, scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, omelets made to order, prime rib, blood orange mimosas and Sip’s Signature Bloody Marys. Restaurant Week kicks off
Sunday also marks the start of the semi-annual promotion Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will be offering three-course dinners for $28 and, in some cases, three-course lunches for $15 April 8-12 and April 15-19.

Other participants in Bellevue include , , , Nordstrom Grill, , and . In Kirkland, Anthony’s Homeport, bin on the lake, , and will be participating. In Bothell look for Preservation Kitchen and Grazie Ristorante. Also, on Mercer Island, in Redmond and Barking Frog in Woodinville will be offering the special three-course menu.
Also new this time is a drawing for diners with a grand prize of a progressive dinner at three restaurants in Seattle plus an overnight stay at The Mayflower Park Hotel, including breakfast at its restaurant, Andaluca. First prize is a $75 gift card to Flying Fish. Second prize is a $50 gift card to Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar in Seattle.
Barking Frog and 21 Acres team up for cooking lessons
Barking Frog Executive Chef Bobby Moore and Sous Chef Joshua Delgado will be teaming with 21 Acres Center for Local Food & Sustainable Living in Woodinville to host a cooking class and dinner on Sunday, April 22, at 5 p.m. The class and three-course dinner paired with Amavi Cellars wines is $145, all-inclusive.
