Got Garbage? How Are You Handling the WM Strike?

Has the recycling and yard waste drivers’ strike, along with the stoppage in garbage service, affected you? Let us know.

With the Waste Management drivers’ , we’re wondering what effect it’s having on our Patch readers’ lives.

Waste Management has asked residential customers to hang onto their garbage, recycling and yard waste until next week’s regular pickup. Is that working out for you? Or do you have so much to get rid of that you’re taking it to a transfer station yourself?

What about where you work? Is the lunchroom recycle bin full of empty plastic bottles and cans? Do you work someplace that generates a lot of waste or recycling? We’re wondering how your workplace is dealing with that.

Oh, and if you’ve got pictures of a pileup, you can upload them to this story.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
