Little Caesars Pizza Store Opening on Rose Hill

The opening is planned for Jan. 25, and the restaurant will feature the national company's $5 pizzas.

A Little Caesars pizza restaurant will open in Kirkland on Rose Hill Jan. 25 if all goes as planned, say its operators, Corey and Amy Freebairn.

Little Caesars is a national chain known for its “Hot and Ready” promotion that features $5 pizzas, ready to go or made to order. The store will fill a spot in a building on NE 85th Street -- Rose Hill’s main drag -- that stood vacant for several years. The Little Caesars will be the third business in the building, and the Freebairns say a Kiddie Academy is expected to be the next tenant.

Corey Freebairn said he signed the lease in October and that the city of Kirkland has been excellent to work with, through both the permitting and inspection processes.

“There was only one major surprise as we built-out this space from scratch: the building had no natural gas service,” Frebairn said. “(That’s) a bit of a shock to a guy with two gas-burning, fire-breathing pizza ovens.”

But the gas line was installed and the ovens should be fired up and cooking pizza and chickens wings on Jan. 25.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.
