  • , 12715 NE 124th St. -- What I like about Lucky 7 sports bars in the Totem Lake area is that it has lots of elbow room, 20 taps, 20 regular TVs, four big screens, four pool tables and a couple of sassy waitresses. What more could you want for the Super Bowl?
  • , 112 Lake St. – This popular downtown restaurant is a Kirkland institution, long a hangout for locals, particularly the bar. It’s crowded every weekend night and most weekdays too, and offers a big screen in the back room. The Packers and the Steelers take the field at 3:30 p.m., so get to Hector’s early and grab a seat.
  • , 12506 NE 144th St. – In the Kingsgate area, this is a traditional sports bars with plenty of viewing capacity -- four big screens and more than 20 smaller TVs.
  • , 148 Lake St. – If you’re throwing a Super Bowl party, fire it up by ordering take-out salsas from this highly regarded new “sophisticated” Mexican restaurant. Order by Friday (425-952-6270) from the following choices: hot, tomatillo, chipotle, pico de gallo, ceviche and guacamole (three kinds). Chips are available too.
  • Alexandria Nicole Cellars14810 NE 145th St. in Woodinville – Not a brewski-quaffing football fan? Well, head over the hill to wine-land, where real wine drinkers watch the Super Bowl, too. The party starts at 3 p.m. and includes a glass of wine and small cheese plate. Tickets are $20.
