Where Did You Get That? Lunch in Kirkland

Every week we'll feature a photograph of something delicious from a Kirkland restaurant. Can you be the first to guess the restaurant—and the dish?

Kirkland has some really great places to eat, and here's a chance to test your own culinary chops by guessing what this local favorite is and where we got it.

I visited a local restaurant for lunch and asked them to serve me the dish that's most popular with regular lunch customers. I have to admit, I might not have tried it on my own, but I really enjoyed this, though normally I would have saved it for dinnertime. It came with a big knife, but the meat was so tender I didn't need it.

Can you guess what it is and where I got it in Kirkland? Tell us in the comments.

You can also participate by uploading a picture of your favorite local dish to Patch Pics & Clips and email the details to Kirkland@Patch.com, telling us where and what, and we might use it for a future "Where Did You Get That?"

Wow, you guys know your restaurants. Almost simultaneously I received two email guesses correctly identifying this as corned beef and cabbage from Wilde Rover. Sheryl at first said she was stumped on Facebook, then in quick turn also correctly guessed the dish.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.
