Letter: Obama Wrong to Say America Should Not Return to Way it Was

Kirkland's Bob Style says 20 states think it should and that momentum is building.

Dear Editor,

It's no wonder why this is even an issue? Obama says we should not return to the way America was. He is wrong. At least 20 states think so and the crest is not subsiding, it's building. The State of Washington has a lot of "sulky/spoiled children" as documented by the results of the election.

Anyone who's read the Kirkland Reporter for any length of time will recognize Robert Styles as Kirkland's curmudgeon in chief. He's a regular letter and comment writer who complains about anything and everything. His characterization of the citizens of Washington State as "sulky/spoiled children" simply because we voted for Obama sounds like typical sour grapes. It seems like Mr. Styles is the one throwing the temper tantrum. The world is changing and if we don't change with it we'll be left behind. It believe that all of us need to decide if we're part of the solution or part of the problem. I choose to be part of the solution; forward ho!

Well, whether you agree with Bob or not Captain Lars, you've got to respect the fact that he so vigorously exercises his right of free speech!
