  • Why Go: Make it out to the Juanita Friday Market and pick up all your favorite locally grown fruits, vegetables, beautiful flowers, honey products, breads, and other tasty treats. And, while you shop, you'll get enjoy the live music and performances going on all day.
  • Price: Admission is free. 

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sat, May 21 at .
  • Why Go: If you're a fan of gnomes, fairies, elves, or anything from Middle Earth you should definitely consider checking out the opening of Shhhhh - Fairies, Gnomes, and Woodland Creatures, the new exhibit at the Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll Art in Bellevue. Can't make the opening on Saturday? No worries, the exhibit will run through mid October.
  • Pricing: $10 for adults; $9 for seniors; $5 for children ages 5 - 17; Free for Children 4 and under.

  • Why Go: Join the Eastside Symphony for what's sure to be an unforgettable night. The concert will include Chopin's earliest and most delightful piano concertos, plus Rachmaninov's final symphonic work. Can't wait until Saturday?   • Pricing: Advance tickets: $10 adult, $7 students and seniors; Tickets at the door: $12 adult, $9 student and seniors.


  • Where/When: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sun, May 22 at . 
  • Why Go: Join celebrated Northwest glass artist, Paul Marioni as he leads a lecture at the Bellevue Arts Museum this Sunday. This lecture is going to be real treat for any art enthusiasts out there, as Marioni is considered to be one of the world's most prominent glass artists. Not familiar with Paul Marioni's work? Get the scoop with quick Google Image search.
  • Price: The lecture is free with admission to the museum.

  • Where/When: Sun, May 22, registration starts at 10 a.m on the corridor next to South Kirkland Park & Ride with a mass-start at 11 a.m.
  • Why Go: This is more of a scavenger hunt than a walking or running event. After you register you'll get a detailed map of the southern part of the corridor, with numerous locations marked that you can visit to answer questions. Along the way, you’ll discover Kirkland art, history, parks, and if your lucky, some like-minded friends. 
  • Pricing: Registration is $4.
