Redmond Coffee Shop Collecting Toys for Foster Children
Sorrento's Coffee will be a drop-off point for a toy drive launched by Kirkland's Sibling House Network.
has stepped in to be a drop-off location for this year's toy drive to benefit The Sibling House Network, a Kirkland-based nonprofit that provides support and mentoring to local foster children and their mentors.
The Sibling House is collecting toys for its annual holiday party on Dec. 10. Sorrento's will be accepting donations of unwrapped, new or like-new toys from Nov. 25 through Dec. 8.
At the holiday party, foster parents will be able to "shop" for food, clothing and toys for the children who are in their care. More than 130 people attended last year's holiday party.
