Fun Recipe: Pizza Monkey Bread
A perfect crowd pleaser for parties, football games or family night!
This recipie is a savory spin on traditional cinnamon monkey bread. The foundation is the same, except it is cheesey and garlicy. These break apart nuggets of gooey goodness are sure to please everyone!
24 frozen dinner rolls, thawed out but still cold
48 slices of pepperoni

8 oz. mozzarella cheese, cubed into 48 pieces
1 cup butter

1 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh shredded basil
6 cloves garlic, finely minced or pressed
dash of pepper
Pizza sauce (for dipping)
Cut rolls in half and flatten. Top each with one slice of pepperoni and one cube of mozarella. Wrap the dough around the pepperoni and cheese to completely enclose and form a ball.
Combine melted butter, cheese, basil, garlic and pepper in a bowl. Coat each piece of dough with mixture and place in a bundt pan coated with non-stick spray. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until amost to the top of the pan. Remove plastic wrap and bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Cover with foil if top is getting too brown.
After removing from oven, invert onto serving tray and serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
