MEOW Cat Rescue cat of the week - 'Personal Assistant' Betty White

Betty White is a gentle, affectionate and loving girl - much like her namesake.

That's right, MEOW has a Betty White too!  She is a beautiful three year old domestic short hair white girl.  Betty was born with a condition called Heterochromia indum - meaning she is 'odd eyed' and has one blue eye and one green eye.  The color of the irises is determined primarily by the concentration and distribution of melanin.  It's a little complicated, but...what isn't complicated is Betty!  Simply put, she is a gentle, affectionate and loving girl - much like her namesake.

Betty White has lived with other cats, dogs and we feel that she would do well with children.  She is quick to make friends and enjoys lying on the tall scratching trees in one of the free roaming rooms at MEOW.  She has been spayed, microchipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, received a series of vaccines and dewormings.  She is just as healthy as can be and is raring to go!

Betty's "feline-ality" is a Personal Assistant.  The definition of a Personal Assistant:  "You're working on the computer?  Let me press the keys.  Reading the paper?  I'll hold the pages down for you.  Watching TV?  I'll just plop in your lap so you can pet me.  I love an orderly household, don't you?  I'll help you with all your chores and I'll help you relax when we're done.  You'll wonder how you ever managed without me."
