Charges Filed Against Suspect Shot in Woodinville Burglary Attempt

Dustin Stanley Goodhue is set to be arraigned next week in King County Superior Court.

 

The King County Prosecutor's Office has charged Dustin Stanley Goodhue, 29, with residential burglary following .

Goodhue is to be arraigned on Monday, Aug. 13.

Goodhue was shot twice by the homeowner, Dale Larsen, after Goodhue was discovered searching through a bedroom closet in the Woodinville home. Goodhue managed to escape and drive a short distance away, but was later apprehended after he called 911 for medical assistance.

Goodhue was listed in satisfactory condition Wednesday at Harborview Medical Center.

During the robbery, Larsen confronted Goodhue and a female accomplice while they attempted to break into a safe, according to charging documents. Larsen announced his presence, and when Goodhue made a move toward him, Larsen fired his handgun, hitting Goodhue twice.

Goodhue was able to escape from the home and drive away in a car that had been left idling outside, but stopped approximately 10 blocks away and contacted 911.

The female suspect was also able to slip away and is still at large.

The King County Sheriff's Office recently released made from the home.

Goodhue's criminal history includes a 2000 conviction for second-degree assault, a 1999 conviction for second-degree burglary, a pair of 2008 controlled substance violation convictions, a 2007 reckless driving conviction, three negligent driving convictions from 2000, 2001 and 2004, and a hit and run conviction from 2001, according to court documents.

Prosecutors requested bail in the amount of $100,000 and believe Goodhue to be a flight risk based on his attempt to escape from the home.

City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
