Man Arrested for Videotaping Juanita Students in Warehouse Bathroom

King County Sheriff's Office released information Thursday afternoon regarding an arrest in a case of videotaping high school girls at a slumber party in Woodinville.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly secretly videotaping the woman’s bathroom of a Woodinville warehouse where a group of volleyball players were having a slumber party on Nov. 5, according to a press release from King County Sheriff’s Office.

Two cameras were hidden in the ceiling in the bathroom at the warehouse. One of the cameras was discovered by one of the girls in the bathroom the night of the slumber party and police were called.

The warehouse is in the 14200 block of NE 200th Street in Woodinville.

The cameras were connected to a recorder in another room of the warehouse. The Lake Washington School District said the slumber party was not sanctioned by the school. The suspect has been released from jail pending additional investigation and detectives referring the case to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

KIRO TV interviewed Juanita students and filed this report with a few more details.
