No Injuries as KFD Extinguishes Apartment Fire

The fire was contained to a single unit of the Hunter's Run Apartments in north Juanita on Friday night.

Kirkland firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a ground-floor unit of the Hunter’s Run Apartments in north Juanita Friday night. There were no injuries.

The Kirkland Firefighters Facebook page reported that first responders on the scene found smoke and flames in the unit at about 9 p.m. They were able to put it out quickly and keep it from spreading.

Acting Battalion Chief Mike Haschak of the Kirkland Fire Department said the fire started in the kitchen and that the unit sustained extensive damage. But all occupants of the complex except those living in the damaged unit were able to return to their homes.

The apartment complex is on NE 134th Lane, just off Juanita Woodinville Way NE.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
