Redmond Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Rose Hill Area Rape

Redmond Police on Wednesday released a sketch of a suspect they say .

According to a department news release, the woman was studying in her apartment, located in the 8500 block of 148th Ave. NE, at around 2 a.m. Tuesday when the suspect entered through an open sliding door. He went into a bedroom where the victim was studying, turned off the lights, and put a knife to her throat and proceeded to assault her.

That location is about a mile east of the Kirkland/Redmond boundary on 132nd Avenue NE.

The suspect is described as a white or light-skinned Latino male with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, and a white T-shirt underneath a dark colored sweatshirt or jacket. Police say he had a strong accent that was possibly Spanish.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.
