A woman with a distinguishing feature -- a small white Pomeranian dog under her arm -- is accused of using a stolen credit card Sunday at the Bellevue Square Nordstrom, and Bellevue police are seeking help in identifying her.
The Bellevue Police said that the credit card was among the items stolen from a residence near Bellevue Square Sunday morning. Other items taken include electronics and jewelry, according to the Bellevue Police Department. The property was valued at $13,000.
Later that morning, the credit card was used at Nordstrom by a woman wearing a black, white and purple sundress and carrying a white purse and white Pomeranian dog, according to the Bellevue police.
The clerk told police that the woman said she was headed home from church, the police reported. The woman is described as white, approximately 32 to 35 years old, brown hair, 5'2" to 5'5", 130 to 140 lbs. Police have provided a sketch of her appearance at Nordstrom.
A second suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old, 6'0", medium to thin build, and bald head with a thin face. No sketch of his face was provided.
Seattle Police reported that male and female burglary suspects were captured on video using credit cards stolen from a residential burglary. The woman was carrying a Pomeranian dog in those cases as well, according to the Bellevue Police. The card was used at several locations throughout North Seattle and Renton.
Their car is believed to be a dark colored 1990s Chrysler Sebring. The female appears to be the same suspect in the Bellevue burglary case.
