City Invites Developers to 'Partnership Forum' Wednesday

City of Kirkland staff will brief participants on permits, on-line permitting, trends and other development issues during the forum Wednesday at City Hall.

 

The city is inviting potential developers in Kirkland to a “Partnership Forum” Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at City Hall.

The Kirkland Developers Partnership Forum, in the City Council Chambers, will includes presentations on Kirkland development trends, the city’s development services study, changes to SEPA thresholds in Kirkland, a new Land Use Permit Extension Ordinance, an update about on-line permitting, a one-time fire sprinkler exemption, the city’s Urban Forest Management Plan and Kirkland’s Green Codes.

City staff will take questions about development regulations and the permitting process after the presentations. Participants are asked to RSVP Rob Jammerman, Development Engineering Manager, at rjammerman@kirklandwa.gov.
