Construction Alert: Dual 520, 405 Closures Planned this Weekend
Northbound Interstate 405 from I-90 to 520 will be closed July 12-15, and the 520 floating bridge will be closed at the same time.
A packed weekend of maintenance projects will mean a circuitous drive for Eastside travelers from July 12-15 as both the Interstate 520 bridge and northbound Interstate 405 through Bellevue are closed for work.
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, July 12, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 15, crews will close all northbound lanes of I-405 through downtown Bellevue for concrete panel replacement. Crews will also close the SR 520 floating bridge for its annual inspection, and culvert installation.
The Washington State Department of Transportation is asking drivers to plan ahead and help reduce congestion by taking transit, carpooling, using alternate routes, or delaying trips.

WSDOT is coordinating the closure closely with the city of Bellevue.
