Mayor, City Council to Host Fourth 'Totem Lake Conversations' Sept. 24

Businesses and citizens are invited to share their thoughts about future of area and how to revitalize one of Kirkland's most important business districts.

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Kirkland Mayor Joan McBride and members of the City Council invite Totem Lake Business District companies, interested stakeholders, and citizens to talk about developing a Totem Lake business group. The fourth conversation about Totem Lake continues at noon on Sept. 24 at Café Veloce.  For reservations, call the City Manager’s Office at 425-587-3001.

In 2010, the City hosted a Totem Lake Symposium where financial, development, and design professionals and local property and business owners shared ideas about how to revitalize the Totem Lake Business District.  Their concepts were integrated into the Totem Lake Action Plan which was adopted by the City Council in late 2010.
