Sidewalks Being Added Near Seven Kirkland Grade Schools

Improvements are part of the state's "Safe Routes to School" grant program.

Sidewalks are being added this summer near seven Kirkland elementary schools as part of the Washington Department of Transportation‘s “Safe Routes to School” grant program.

Construction has already begun on at least one of them, Peter Kirk Elementary in the Norkirk neighborhood, as Patch .
