UPDATE: Snow Prompts LWSD to Dismiss Students Early

Buses will about 30 minutes early on Tuesday, according to a spokeswoman from the school district.

UPDATE, 1:30 p.m., Jan. 17: Lake Washington School District is dismissing students early today because of snowy weather. Kathryn Reith, a spokesperson for the district, says students are currently being released to their parents and those that have permission to walk home via their "emergency cards" are being allowed to do so. Buses will be approximately 30 minutes early, Reith said. Extended day care has been canceled.
