Meeting with LWSD Superintendent Candidate Rescheduled for Thursday
Dr. Traci Pierce, the school board's preferred candidate, will meet the public Feb. 2 at Kirkland City Hall.
The canceled Kirkland public meeting for Dr. Traci Pierce, Lake Washington School District superintendent candidate, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 2 at , 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Pierce has been selected by the LWSD board as its preferred candidate to replace Dr. Chip Kimball, who is leaving to take a job in Singapore later this year. The open house-type meetings throughout the district are intended to introduce Dr. Pierce, currently deputy superintendent, to the community while asking for public input for the school board.
The previously scheduled meeting in Kirkland was canceled because of heavy snow. The meeting will be in the Peter Kirk room at City Hall. For more information on Pierce and the public meetings, please go to the original announcement on the LWSD website.
