With their dramatic come-from-behind victory over Washington 24-14 Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks advance to a second-round NFC division playoff game this coming Sunday against the 13-3 Atlanta Falcons.
The game will start at 10 a.m. PST Jan. 13 in Atlanta, and will be televised on Fox (Channel 13). The winner will advance to the NFC Championship.
The Seahawks advanced to a 12-5 record with an impressive victory over Washington, scoring 24 points after falling behind 14-0. Quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch again led the way for the Seahawks, Wilson completing 15 of 16 passes for 187 yards and a touchdown - and running for 67 yards. Lynch carried the ball 20 times for 132 yards, including an incredible 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
But Atlanta is a tough South Division champion that had a bye this last weekend, led by quarterback Matt Ryan and three fine receivers. See a Seahawks-Falcons matchup by BleacherReport.com here.
