More tidbits about the seafood choices

Oh well, the Copper River kings and sockeye runs are done until next May, so now we will have kings from Southeast Alaska, sockeyes from Canada and Alaska. We are not buying any cohos (silver) yet, the sizes are too small.

Remember to break out the grills for your outdoor cooking. Copper River silver salmon starts in 10 days. Also, Start thinking about freezing your king salmon for the winter run, we can fillet, portion, and vacpac your fish for freezing.

Halibut is still coming in nice and translucent, just make sure it is flown in from Alaska and not the ones that are trucked down from Canada, because by the time they get to the retail end, you are looking at 4-6 days since it was caught.

Also a reminder: We will have taste test Saturdays, starting this Saturday, July 28th. See you all there!
