Downtown Association Needs Clean Sweep Volunteers Saturday

Anyone 14 or older can help, and participants are asked to wear gloves and appropriate clothing and bring rakes, shovels, brooms and dust pans if they can.

 

The is seeking volunteers to help out Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. during its annual Clean Sweep to spruce up the central business district.

“It’s fun, it’s great exercise, great conversation, great networking,” says Penny Sweet, City Council Member and co-owner of at Lakeshore Plaza.

DATE: SATURDAY, APRIL 28TH
MEET: 126 PARK LANE AVENUE, KIRKLAND
WHO: EVERYONE, AGE 14 AND ABOVE
TIME: 8:30 AM FOR COFFEE FROM STARBUCKS, PASTRIES FROM ALKI BAKERY AND DIRECTIONS.
BRING: IF YOU HAVE THEM, RAKES, SHOVELS, DUST PANS, BROOMS, GLOVES, CRACK WEEDERS AND WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING.
LUNCH: MEET BETWEEN 11:30 AND NOON AT QDOBA ON LAKE STREET. DON'T FORGET TO GIVE STARBUCK'S, ALKI BAKERY AND QDOBA'S A BIG SHOUT OUT FOR BEING SUCH GREAT SUPPORTERS OF OUR COMMUNITY.
