Pet of the Week: Pretty and Playful Miranda Just Loves to be Loved

This precious 4-year-old gets along well with other cats and just needs a new family.

Miranda is a 4-year-old gray and white bi-color female cat who loves to be loved, and came to Houghton’s shelter from an overcrowded local shelter.

MEOW sometimes reaches out to other shelters and takes on transfers, and the volunteer staff couldn’t be happier about the arrival of this precious girl.

She loves human companionship and will persistently circle your legs and feet until she is noticed. She chirps and meows happily to show her appreciation. She is full of playfulness as well and simply can't resist feather wands. She can play for long periods of time with these toys and will settle in for a contented nap once she is finished.

Miranda is currently residing in one of the free roaming rooms at MEOW, so she gets along well with other cats.  We're not sure how she feels about dogs.  She has been spayed -- all MEOW cats are spayed or neutered -- microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and treated for parasites if necessary.

Miranda is perfectly healthy -- and look at those eyes! If you think you can give her a home, please see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
